Supporting Small Business Through Economic Development!
Midwest Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) recently awarded a $1,500.00 grant to the East Grand Forks Economic Development Authority. The East Grand Forks EDA works to support and retain the businesses in the East Grand Forks local economy by creating investment and growth opportunities with consideration of growing workforce demands through partnerships.
MBFC’s grant helped the East Grand Forks EDA support their economic development software. This software is instrumental in how the EDA assists and advocates for their small business community by helping the EDA track projects, produce reports, and communicate more effectively. “The EDA runs a lean budget and the grant is impactful,” states Maggie Brockling, Economic Development Director.
