Minnesota Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) recently awarded a grant to Greater Fergus Falls Corp. Pictured below, Mike Stearns, Vice President of MBFC presents the grant check to NeTia Bauman CEO of Greater Fergus Falls Corp. MBFC is the only certified development company in Minnesota to present this type of grant program.
Greater Fergus Falls was established in 2018, with a board consisting of goal-minded residents in, and around, the Fergus Falls area. The goal of the nonprofit is to recruit new business, from small to big, to the Fergus Falls area; to retain their current businesses; and to revitalize the local business economy. Most recently, Greater Fergus Falls opened the Foundry, a hybrid co-working center with a start-up business accelerator and pop-up retail, located in downtown Fergus Falls. The $2,000 grant will be used to further expand Greater Fergus Falls’ presence.
