MBFC Grant Presented to The City of Monticello EDA

MBFC presented a grant to the City of Monticello Economic Development Authority. Joshua Laffen, Vice President of Business Development of MBFC, awarded the funds to Jim Thares, Economic Development Manager, for the EDA. MBFC supports programs that allow communities to thrive and make investments in economic development initiatives that benefit the region.

Monticello’s EDA’s mission is “to coordinate, evaluate, and implement sustainable development in a respectful and approachable manner. Through service, education, and engagement, we strengthen the community.” This area serves approximately 95,000 people based on the market and various industries and they highlight a strong City Council which welcomes new and expanding business development.
