MBFC Awards Tom Reid’s VetLoan Advantage Rebate

Minnesota Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) is honored to present Dr. Keifer and Tom Reid with ourVetLoan Advantage award check for $3000. MBFC is the only Certified Development Company in Minnesota to offer a rebate to business owners that are active or retired members of military service.Tom Reid and Dr. Robert Keifer are partners in Tom Reid’s Hockey City Pub in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota.  The Pub is located on West Seventh Street near the Xcel Energy Center, the home ice of the Minnesota Wild hockey team.  This area is experiencing new development and growth and Keifer and Reid were looking to secure additional parking and expansion space for the Pub.

Dr. Keifer served in the U.S. Air Force as a dentist. He owns his dental clinic, Northeast Dental, and has practiced for over 40 years.

At MBFC, we believe in supporting veterans and improving our communities by providing more-affordable funding for start-up and existing businesses. That’s why we have partnered with the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO) to offer VetLoan Advantage, a program that will complement the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) veteran loan strategic initiatives.
