Supporting Small Business through SBDCs

MBFC recently awarded a grant of $5,000.00 to Minnesota’s North Central Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Brainerd, MN. The North Central SBDC program serves the counties of Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Todd, Wadena, and the Sovereign Nations of the Leech Lake and Mille Lacs Bands of Ojibwe.

The SBDC provides high-quality, no-cost business advising to entrepreneurs and small business owners. They offer one-on-one consulting in key areas such as startup assistance, access to capital, business planning, market research, and expansion strategies, helping businesses launch, grow, and succeed in their region.

MBFC appreciates the partnership with the North Central SBDC and their important guidance and resources given to the small business community.  The SBDC’s responsive and proactive approach to training and consultation is certainly a great asset to entrepreneurs!
