Supporting Small Business through SBDCs

MBFC recently awarded a grant of $5,000.00 to the Southwest Minnesota Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Marshall, MN.

The Southwest Minnesota SBDC program serves the Southwest Minnesota counties of Big Stone, Chippewa, Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lac Qui Parle, Lincoln, Lyon, McLeod, Meeker, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, Renville, Rock, Swift and Yellow Medicine. The SBDC provides consulting, training, and research to assist small businesses to start, grow and transition at no-cost to the SBDC clients.

MBFC appreciates the partnership with Southwest Minnesota SBDC and their important guidance and resources given to the small business community.  The SBDC’s responsive and proactive approach to training and consultation is certainly a great asset to entrepreneurs!
