Supporting Small Business through SBDCs
MBFC recently awarded a grant of $5,000.00 to the Southwest MN Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Marshall, MN. The Southwest MN SBDC program serves the counties of Big Stone, Chippewa, Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lac Qui Parle, Lincoln, Lyon, McLeod, Meeker, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, Renville, Rock, Swift, and Yellow Medicine in Southwest Minnesota.
The SBDC provides high-quality, no-cost business advising to entrepreneurs and small business owners. They offer one-on-one consulting in key areas such as startup assistance, access to capital, business planning, market research, and expansion strategies, helping businesses launch, grow, and succeed in their region.
MBFC appreciates the partnership with the Southwest MN SBDC and their important guidance and resources given to the small business community. The SBDC’s responsive and proactive approach to training and consultation is certainly a great asset to entrepreneurs!
