MBFC presented Carrie and Mark Gehling, Owners of Tilt-Lock Acquisitions, Inc., of Foley, Minn., a VetLoan Advantage Rebate of $3,000.00. This rebate is part of the Strategic Initiative of the National Association of Development Company’s (NADCO) VetLoan Advantage program. MBFC is the only Certified Development Company in the Midwest to offer a rebate to business owners that are active or retired members of military service.

The Gehlings worked with Terry Stein, Vice President of MBFC, for SBA 504 financing to purchase a property to relocate their business and make improvements to the building. Tilt-Lock Acquisitions, Inc. is a material handing and lifting device manufacturer. They purchased the company in 2019. Mark had worked there since 2017 and knew he wanted to take over the company when the owner was planning their retirement. Tilt-Lock fabricates items such as tip lifts, vertical lifting devices, hydraulic forklift attachments, and many other parts. The company has been around for over 60 years and is well known for excellent products and service across the country. Their commercial lender is Jeremy Johnson, Market President of Frandsen Bank & Trust (pictured above).

Mark joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17 years old. Following Marine Corps Infantry School at Camp Pendleton, California, he attended Machine Gunner School. He was deployed, then through tryouts of Scout Sniper Platoon, he was selected in 2012 and was the Honor Graduate- High Shooter of his class. He was deployed a second time and upon return was promoted to Chief Scout. Additional training accolades include Mountain Sniper School and Urban Sniper School, which he graduated top of his class. After 5 years active duty, he moved home to Minnesota and joined the Army National Guard. He was placed in the Sniper Section and has served 4 years with the Minnesota Army National Guard.
