Awarded MBFC’s VetLoan Advantage Rebate

MBFC is honored to present This Is It Sports Barbershop a VetLoan Advantage Rebate of $3,000. This rebate is part of the Strategic Initiative of the National Association of Development Company’s (NADCO) VetLoan Advantage program. MBFC is the only Certified Development Company in Minnesota to offer a rebate to business owners that are active or retired members of military service. This Is It Sports Barbershop is owned by Will Cobb, and is located in Minneapolis, MN. Josh Laffen of MBFC, and Sue Anderson of VisionBank presented the rebate at Will’s business.

Will worked with MBFC for SBA 504 loan program funding to purchase and renovate the existing commercial building he was leasing in Minneapolis. Sue Anderson, of VisionBank, partnered with MBFC on the project as Will’s lending bank. The business offers full barbershop services from straight razor shaves, haircuts, and coloring in a friendly sports-themed environment. He has been in the industry for over 20 years and features many repeated clientele who trust him to keep their styles looking sharp!

Will was active duty with the military for 6 years (June 1992- June 1998) and stationed at nearly every base in the United States.  Following his service, Will’s transition back into civilian life was not an easy one. Through grit and perseverance, Will built his business and now owns the building his business operates out with great success.

MBFC thanks Will Cobb for his military service and Sue Anderson, of VisionBank, for partnering with MBFC on this SBA 504 project
