MBFC presented a grant to the Lyon & Murray County CEO Program. Pictured above, Julie Dahlhoff, VP of MBFC-Prairieland Division, presented the grant to Carla Goedtke, Board Chair, Lyon and Murray County CEO, and CFO of Investors Choice Financial Services, in Slayton, MN. MBFC supports entrepreneurial programs designed to give students paths to experience economic development in their area.
The program mentored 18 total CEO students in 2023, with a Board of Directors of 12 executives, and 49 total CEO investors. For the coming year, the program already has 9 students enrolled.
Area CEO’s work with the students to create one-on-one connections that will strengthen the student’s awareness of employment options in the area and grow social skills aimed at business connections. View their website below to find out more:

Lyon and Murray County CEO Investors, like MBFC, are the heart of the program. Their annual investment commitments toward funding and providing area business site tours, being guest speakers, and developing positive mentor relationships are critical to the success of Lyon and Murray County CEO.
